    the beginner course is designed for all women and queer people who strive for more self-confidence and empowerment. to be able to handle uncertain situations, it is important to practice first in a safe space and to find a balance between well-being and challenge. we focus on the fundamental movements and basic techniques of Ashihara Karate — a modern full-contact style that emphasises evasive maneuvers and counterattacks from a favorable position, well suited for self-defense. there are no physical prerequisites; everyone is welcome.
